A Quiet Friday

Another morning spent at the hospital. I'm so tired of being there, but it's necessary I guess. I didn't need a transfusion today, but they gave me magnesium through the IV. I have to go back in the morning. I was hoping to have the weekend off, but no such luck.

Ron picked me up around 1 PM and we went to lunch at Red Lobster. I had catfish, he had flounder. It was pretty good. I love their cheddar bay biscuits.

Got home around 3 PM and I felt exhausted. We let the puppies inside and they are crashed in their kennel. It's hot outside, so I know they are enjoying being in the AC. I think I'm going to follow their example and take a nap.

Hi Sandi and Mom. Yes, one day closer to wellness. I'll be so happy to live a normal life again. :o) Tomorrow will be day 16 after the transplant. Around day 30 they will send me back to Dr. Brown in the oncology clinic rather than seeing me in the bone marrow transplant clinic. He will follow me from then on, for years to come. I'm looking forward to, but a little nervous, about the next scan, which they'll do in a few weeks. Thank you for praying!
