Wednesday With Reece

Our visitors have gone home. It's been a busy, fun couple of weeks. My sister from Kansas and her sweet, funny granddaughter left yesterday afternoon. We stopped by Josh's to say good-bye, and then went to Gran's for a little while before I took them to the airport.

Reece spent the night, so the house doesn't seem as empty as it would have. He absolutely loves to have company, but he gets so excited and keyed up! Last night and today he was much calmer. We spent time outside yesterday because it's so warm and pretty. In the picture, he is having supper (chicken strips and fries from Whataburger) on the patio while he watches YouTube videos.

He was ready to go see his Great Gran this morning. We stopped at Toys R Us to buy a Playmobil police car he wanted, but they didn't have it. Instead he found a veterinarian set that has two vets, two dogs, a cat, and a turtle and the vet's office with a table, kennels, a scanner, x-ray table and x-rays, and little bottles, bandages and vet equipment of all kinds. We took it to Gran's and put it together and he was so delighted!

I hope the weather stays as perfect when we go to the coast next week. It feels like summer, and makes me happy.

I can hardly believe that Lent is nearly over and we're halfway through Holy Week. We'll be at the coast for Easter. I'll be looking on the internet for a church to attend there.
