Snow!

A strong cold front came through last night, and today the temps are in the 30s! Brrr. I drove to Mom's in rain, sleet and snow this morning. Quite a change from our 70s yesterday! There were times during the drive home when it was just snow, which was fun to see.

Josh said that Reece loved watching the big snowflakes falling. Of course nothing stuck because the ground is so warm. If this continues though, we may be in trouble tomorrow, with wet roads and freezing temps.

When I took Teddy outside for his walk, he could hardly wait to get back inside. He is definitely a Texas dog. :o) He was shivering, and snuggled down under a blanket when we got back to Mom's apartment.

My puppies, on the other hand, don't seem to mind the cold or the wet weather at all. They are inside, though. It's too cold to leave them out for long.

Aubrey didn't get a pixie hair cut after all. The lady at the salon told the kids that her hair was too fine, that it would be sticking up. So they just got it cut the same way again, only shorter. She looks very cute.

Reece will be here soon to spend the night. Since it's cold I think we will do some baking, which he loves. Maybe chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

I lit a vanilla candle downstairs; it already smells like something is baking.
