The Pincushion Has Arrived!

I won this sweet little pincushion in a drawing at Sarah's blog. It has traveled to Texas all the way from Hawaii, and I'm delighted to have it. It looks as if belongs in my purple craft room. :o)

Sarah and her family have recently arrived in Hawaii, where the military sent her Navy chief. My family lived in Hawaii in the '80s, when my Army husband was stationed at Ft. Shafter on Oahu. Reading her blog lately has taken me on a trip down memory lane.

Receiving the pincushion has been like finding a little piece of Hawaii in my mailbox. Thank you so much, Sarah-kala!

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smashing head on wall with tears streaming down my face. Soooooooooo sweet!! I bet those pins just slipped right into the cushy top.

All I have is a tomato pincushion - a cheap one and the pins won't even go through the green leaf applique on top so all my pins are sorta stuck on the sides. I guess I could make one now couldn't I? Plenty of fabric.

I could stuff stuffing in a cute old tea cup with fabric on top. Yes!!!! That is what I shall do.

Is jealousy a sin? Yeah, I guess it is...

It suits you, your home, and your aloha spirit quite well. Now I have your addy, I may just mail some goodies soon. Let's let the tropical storm pass and the weather cool first.

God bless!
