What a great Trinity Sunday we've had! After having to miss Mass the past two weeks, it was wonderful to be there today and to receive the Eucharist. It's such a blessing to be Catholic!
In the afternoon, Mom and Sandi, Kelly and Mike (and their dogs), and Josh, Cyrise, Reece, Aubrey and Camryn came over for a Memorial Day/Birthday celebration. It was fun!
Josh grilled raspberry chicken and corn on the cob, Cyrise brought yummy potato salad, and I made rice and broccoli. And we had Texas sheet cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert.
The little girls enjoyed their cake and candles and presents. That's Aubrey in the top picture, and Camryn in the bottom one with their big hunks of cake. :o)

My grandmother, who lived in Stockdale -- about 30 miles from San Antonio, always made us Texas Sheet Cake for our birthday cakes. It is so delicious.
Praying for you and your sweet family.

Hi Rachel, I'm so glad to see your comment. My daughter Kelly almost always requests Texas sheet cake for her birthday cake. Everyone loves it, probably because it tastes like fudge with a little bit of cake on the bottom. It's nice to know I have a fan in Dallas. :o) Thank you for your prayers!
