Sitting on the couch with Aubrey, me wearing one of my scarf hats that ties in the back.
Aubrey, taking a good long look at me in my hat: "Gramma, are you a pirate?"
Me, thinking it over: "Why yes, yes I am a pirate."
Aubrey: "Oh."
:o)

Hee hee! That's so cute.
Teach her the "Yo Ho (A Pirate's Life For Me)". She'll love that, and probably the other kids too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKnIi05XNK4
You'll have to wear your scarf and sing along! (:
On a different note, what was the name of that vacuum cleaner the nurse told you to buy because it is so perfect for cancer patients and other immunocompromised people?
I could almost smell the musty, moldy odor of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride while watching that video. I'll let you teach them that song. :o)
Tonight at bedtime I was singing the Name Game song to them and they wanted me to rhyme all kinds of things--fans and curtains and stars--in addition to the names of people. They esp. liked "Kelly." Kelly kelly bobelly, bananafanna fo felly, fee fi mo melly--Kelly!
Aubrey gets mad and cries if I don't sing the song she wants to hear. Tonight Twinkle Twinkle Little Star set her off. The Name Game had her smiling again, though.
It was the Shark steam mop that I bought that the nurse told me to get, not a vacuum. She said it was good because it kills germs without chemicals using the hot steam. I still haven't taken mine out of the box. Tomorrow!
