The most beautiful moonrise I ever saw was in Hawaii. I was going home from Aiea one night, and the moon was directly on the horizon in front of me on H1. It was HUGE and yellow-orange. It looked like a movie. I've never seen another moon like that, before or after.
Tonight the moon is supposed to be closer to the earth than it has been for 18 years, so it will look bigger and brighter than usual.
It already looks pretty near and big under the Hawaiian skies! :)
